Imphal, February 19 2021: The Government of Japan through the Embassy of Japan in India honoured Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh with 'Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for the year 2020'.He has been honoured acknowledging his contributions towards strengthening the ties between Japan and India and Japan and Manipur, said a statement.

Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh is the Chairman and Managing Director of Banina Healthcare and Hospitality Industries Pvt Ltd and is the founding president of Manipur Tourism Forum (MTF).

It may be mentioned that The Imphal Peace Museum at Maibam Lotpa Ching was established under his guidance with the assistance from Nippon Foundation and Sasakawa Peace Foundation (Japan) with the support of the members of MTF and 2nd World War Imphal Campaign Foundation.
