In-laws land in jail over death of a woman

Imphal, October 18 2011:
In connection with the case of Mongjam Ongbi Lalitabi Devi (21), who was reportedly found dead hanging inside her Langol Housing complex, Type-II quarters on September 18 night, father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased woman have been send to jail yesterday.
The accused father-in-law, Tejmani and the mother-in-law, Mongjam Ongbi Sorojini Devi have been arrested by Lamphel police on October 14 in connection with case.
Meanwhile, W Gopendro, the Secretary of the JAC formed over the death, has demanded that the husband of the deceased woman, Mongjam Chittaranjan, who is a personnel of 6th IRB but attached with It MR, his younger sister and brother should also be arrested and given befitting punishment for their alleged involvement in killing Lalitabi.
No force or official should also try to suppress the case, Gopendro said, while informing that JAC would relentlessly pursue the case with public until all the accused were booked and given due punishment.
