Imphal, September 17, 2012: Refuting the claim made by PIB (DW), Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has said that Salam Vikram alias Bobby of Moirang Thoya Leikai, who has been apprehended by the troops of Red Shield Division is a deserter who had left the outfit on May 24,2012.A press release issued by department of publicity chief of the outfit, Taohangsu Heiremcha clarified that Vikram had nothing to do with the blast triggered by the outfit at Kumbi.

He is a married person, who is leading a normal life after he had deserted RPF/PLA in May this year.

Taking a dig into the security forces for making false claims, Taohangsu Heiremcha .urged the former cadres of the outfit to remain alert as such false allegations may be slapped to them in the wake of heightening PLA attacks on security forces.
