Imphal, August 16 2013 : MD Ali Hassan, a class XII (Science) student of Brilliance School, Imphal, has won the weekly Essay Competition on the topic of 'Patriots' Day, 13 August' held for Sunday's Corner of Hueiyen Lanpao.

He can come and collect the prize from the office of Hueiyen Lanpao after producing the identity card issued by the school authority during office hour.

To share the prize winning essay with our esteemed readers, we are reproducing the same on Page 2 of this edition.

The topic for the next competition is, 'Language Day (August 20)' .

Points to be included: 1) Fate of Meeteilon, 2) The significance of the day, 3) The role of the government and civil society organisations in promotion of the language.
