Expedite developmental works: AZSU

Imphal, November 15 2015: All Zeliangrong Students' Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) appealed the stake holders and companies working in the areas of Zeliangrong to expedite the developmental work which are under construction.

In a statement, AZSU-AMN General Secretary Benjamin Gondaimei�said that the companies especially based at Tongjei Maril Road stretch are working day-in and day-out to complete the project to meet the need end of the forth coming Rani Gaidinliu Birth Centenary-Cum-Golden Jubilee of AZSU which is scheduled to be held between 15 and December 18, 2015 at Thanagong, Khoupum Sub-Division, Tamenglong District, Manipur.

He said many Central leaders, State leaders, dignitaries of various bodies and delegates from different parts of India are coming to attend the historic programme.

The AZSU appealed to all the Organisations, civil bodies,�NGOs and various Bodies not to interrupt in the developmental works.

The AZSU further appeal to all the organisations, civil bodies and societies not to call Bandh, Strike, Protest, and Blockage in all Zeliangrong inhabited areas which would hamper the coming historic event and create inconveniences to mobilisations of the celebration and delegates coming to attend the programme.

The 100 year Birth Anniversary of Ranima (born on 26-01-1915) (1915-2015) which is being celebrated by the Centre, State, NGOs, and different bodies in India culminates its event which coincide with the Golden Jubilee of AZSU (1965-2015) .

The AZSU appealed the people to support and cooperate in the ensuing zeal of Zeliangrong as the people of Zeliangrong and general public ardently wait the heralding historic event.
