Speaking to media persons, YMPL secretary Konthoujam Sanayai informed that rally and sit-in protest were organised to oppose the killings and destructions carried out by illegal Kuki narco-terrorists against the people of Manipur, which has a history of more than 2000 years.
She continued that women of Manipur strongly disapprove central forces in large number brought into the state by central and state governments to protect its citizens supporting Kuki narco-terrorists.
Mentioning that Manipur was forcibly merged with India during the rule of Maharaja Bodhchandra, Sanayai asserted that it is becoming clear with each passing day that Manipur is still under colonial rule of India as it has failed to protect denizens of the state similar to any other Indian citizen.
She opined that considering dispassionate attitude of the centre, the merger agreement signed with India should be revoked and people of the state granted the right to protect themselves.
She also opposed India's proxy war against Meetei and vowed not to allow any search operations in valley area as it is Kuki narco-terrorists who are attacking Meetei people with guns and bombs.
