LNKR urges authorities to repair road

Imphal, September 13 2019: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR), the apex Liangmai student body, has expressed its immense concerns on the deteriorating road condition of IT Road from Kangpokpi to Tamenglong district headquarters.

LNKR president Dinraibou said that conditions of numerous sections of the IT Road between Tamei headquarters and Tamenglong district headquarters are too deplorable to use.

He also said that local people tried their best to repair the road but the work load is too much for them.

The LNKR president lamented that the government "refused" to address the plight of the people who are depending on the IT Road.

The LNKR president then said that numerous road portions between Kangpokpi and Tamei are also in extreme bad shapes.

He pointed out the Bena village area particularly where, according to him, is hard for the travellers to use.

"We the apex Liangmai student body urged the concerned authorities to look into the problems at the earliest," the LNKR leader urged.
