Imphal, January 13 2015: Communist Party of India (CPI), Imphal City District Council (ICDC) organized its 5th Conference at its office located at Singjamei Chongtham Leikai, Imphal West on January 11 with Comrade B Sharma, CPI State Secretary Member and M Tomba attending as presidium members.

During the conference, a 25-member District Council and 11-member District Executive Committee of CPI, ICDC were unanimously formed with Comrade S Yaima as District Secretary; Comrade Y Nogen as District Assistant Secretary and Comrade N Subhon as District Assistant Secretary for a period of three years.

Several demands to be put up before the government were also adopted during the conference.
