Chhattisgarh�Governor launches Aryans special scholarship

Governor, Chhattisgarh Balramji Das Tandon launched "Aryans special scholarship for the students of tribal states" in a function held on Wednesday at Aryans Group of Colleges.�Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.
Thousands of people from Rajpura and surrounding areas visited Aryans campus to see Balramji Das Tandon.
Many renowned personali-ties from the region including; Bibi Harpreet Kaur Mukhmailpur, MLA, Ghanaur, Patiala; Varun Roojam, DC, Patiala; Deepinder Singh Dhillon; Raj Khurana; Sanjay Tandon, President, BJP; Rakesh Sharma; Paramjit Jangpura; Nand lal; Rameshwar Sharma etc also graced the occasion.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving the information regarding the scholarship said that central government is funding scholarship to the tribal students on the government approved fee structure.
These funds are insufficient to complete the technical courses in private institutions.

Governor, Chhattisgarh, Sh Balramji Das Tandon while speaking on the occasion said, "I am delighted to launch this scholarship for Aryans College, situated on Chandigarh Patiala ��� Highway-The area which I had represented once is now opening doors for the tribal students of those areas which I am representing now" .� Dr.Kataria further said under this scheme 50 meritorious students will be selected from tribal areas in which�35% of the scholarship will be paid by Aryans Group, other 50% part will be paid by the State Government and the remaining 15% part will be borne by the students.
It is to be mentioned that some states have maximum percentage of tribal population in India like Lakshadweep (94.6%), Mizoram (94.19%), Nagaland (88.98%), Meghalaya (86.43%), Arunachal Pradesh (64.63%), Manipur (38.96%), Chhattisgarh (31.82%), Jharkhand (26.34%), Odisha (22.19%) and Madhya Pradesh (20.26%) .
