Imphal, January 08 2014: A minor girl from Senapati district who was rescued from the clutches of her cruel employer who lives in Netaji Nagar Apartment, Delhi on 28th October, 2013 was brought to Imphal on 6th January 2014 at around 8 am by four Delhi Police Personnel including two women police led by Vinesh Kumar of Sarojini Nagar PS, Delhi.

The victim was received by Chairperson and members of CWC Senapati and Chairperson of CWC Imphal East, after which the girl has been put up at Punya shelter home for girls at Thanmeiband as arranged by Social Welfare Department, according to a statement jointly signed by Chairperson of CWC Senapati LS Salony and Member Hepuni Leo.

On the following day, CWC members of Senapati took the minor girl to Senapati and handed over to Hope Centre Senapati for care and protection during the period of pending enquiry, the statement added.
