Imphal, September 07 2019: Reacting to appeal of the Thanagong Village Court to all groups/individual concerned to refrain from activities that may hinder the peaceful environment of the village, Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has clarified that it 'has nothing to with the incident' of August 14 in which arms and ammunition were recovered by security forces.

Appreciating the village Court stand, ZUF claimed that the arms recovered were handywork of 'defected cadres and some indulging in arms trading' .

Those involved in the incident must surrender before the outfit at the earliest, said ZUF, warning of 'consequences', in a statement today.
