Indicating the village potential that could help in transforming the village into a model village, he expressed hope to see the day when the light of "Modiji's acche din" will drop down on his village.
President of ANTA Wng Victor Kohring Anal on the occasion appealed for repairing of Chandel- Chakpikarong road that passed through Modi village at the earliest.
He pointed out that the road stretch from Chandel Christian Village to Modi village, measuring about 6-7 kms has been sidelined by both PIU and BRTF.
He also criticised that the road work underway between Pallel and Chandel district head quarters is moving at a snail pace and therefore urged the concerned work agency to speed up.
