Imphal, July 05 2015 : To fill up the vacancies of National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO),an Annual General Body Meeting was held on Sunday at the office of the Committee at Keishampat.

L Khupler Kom, Adviser NIPCO, Konsam Langamba Meetei, Adviser NIPCO and Sunil Karam, President NIPCO were the Presidium Members and presided over the meeting.

The members' voiced that all the indigenous communities of Manipur have the right to live independently and peacefully and there should be no domination and suppression between communities.

It is each and every Manipuri's duty to safeguard the territorial boundary of the state and Centre as well as State Govt.should not let unnecessary violence happen in connection with the matter, they expressed.
