Jiribam, December 04 2015 : Along with rest of the country, the Achievement of Rising Maiden (ARM), Lakhipur, Jiribam observed the World Disability Day 2015 on December 3 at Institutefor Children with Disabilities (ICD) complex, Lakhipur, Jiribam.S Lalmani Singh, A I, Zonal Education Office, Jiribam as the chief guest while S Jadhob Singh, President, Parents Association of ICD as a functional President and H Dhani Meitei as a Guest of honour.

The Welcome and keynote address of the programme was delivered by O Anita Devi, Secretary, Achievement of Rising Maiden.

Meanwhile, under the SVEEP-III, campaign-2015, the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur presented gifts to the 60 disabled of Jiribam for which the ARM, Jiribam lauded to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur for his presentation.
