Imphal, April 03 2013: While informing that 1st and 2nd phase of public agitations against the alleged abduction of Alice Kamei, a class IX student of Grace Academy Hiyanglam by proscribed RPF/PLA has begun in all Zeliangrong inhabited villages under Imphal East district, Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland (ZYF-AMN) has called upon RPF/PLA not to recruit minors as its armed cadres and to uphold child rights.

Every human being should uphold child rights for children to live freely without any interference.

Any responsible organisation resorting to arm struggle for people's liberation should not recruit minors as its armed cadres, as this is in total violation of international laws.

Let the school children learn and attain the require education to live as responsible citizen, ZYF-AMN observed in a statement.
