ABDM - a game-changer in health sector: Dr Ranjan

Health and Family Welfare minister Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh has expressed that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ADBM) will be a game changer to boost the health sector in the country.
Speaking as the chief guest of a one day training programme for facility managers of Government Health Facilities on ADBM Building Blocks, DHIS and Scan & Share, organised by Digital Mission Manipur at Hotel Classic Grande, Chingmeirong on Friday, Dr Ranjan stressed the need for strengthening the digital platform in the health sector.
He said that acknowledging the importance of health care in the country, the government has been focussing on the use of the digital platform.

Registration and downloading of Covid Vaccination Certificate through registered mobile numbers is a unique feature of the digital revolution in health care system in the country.
Keeping data and records of the Covid vaccination has been made possible through Cowin App, he added.
The minister also emphasised the importance for regular review of health schemes and called for increasing registration of health facilities.
Health facilitators concerned need to make aggressive efforts to streamline the use of artificial intelligence and maximise awareness through the media, he suggested.
Presiding over the function, Health Services director Dr Chambo Gonmei opined that attention of the private health partners may be drawn to enhance and improve the health facilities.
Stating that regular training of the health facilitators will help achieve the target set, he maintained that the Health Department is also taking initiatives to the optimum.
The programme was also attended by National Health Mission Manipur & ADBM state mission director Dr M Dinesh Singh as guest of honour, along with facility managers of government health facilities from different districts of the state.
