OCF, ISKCON Imphal unite to foster peace in Manipur

Imphal, November 02 2024: One Consciousness Foundation (OCF) joined hands with ISKCON Imphal as part of the ongoing "Manipur Campaign for Peace Worldwide" aimed at promoting unity, rebuilding trust, and supporting lasting peace in the state, which is grappling with the impact of prolonged conflict.

According to a press release of OCF, a meeting was held between the two institutions uniting two spiritual leaders Kh Nepolean of OCF and ISKCON Imphal president Sadhu Bhusan Das, who both share a commitment to fostering understanding and reconciliation within their communities.

Their discussions centred around critical issues facing the state today, such as the breakdown of trust among different groups, the rise of divisive sentiments, and the urgent need for efforts to restore peaceful coexistence.

Both leaders outlined various strategies to support reconciliation, including community engagement events, shared spiritual practices, and fostering a spirit of forgiveness.

They highlighted the importance of initiatives that address both personal growth and collective healing, encouraging the community to embrace values of compassion, respect, and unity.

OCR's "Manipur Campaign for Peace Worldwide" continues to broaden its efforts to build a peaceful society through collaborations with spiritual leaders and communities across the region.

This partnership with ISKCON Imphal marks another significant step forward in advancing a movement rooted in hope, resilience, and shared humanity for the state, the press release added.

It further informed that individuals interested in joining future peace initiatives, including workshops, meditation sessions, and dialogue events, are encouraged to participate in the campaign, which seeks to establish lasting harmony in the state and serve as a model for peaceful coexistence.
