Churachandpur, October 02 2018: All Manipur Komrem Mothers' Association has strongly condemned the brutal murder of M Sailenkhup Kom alias Akhup (48), s/o Mangte Tonpa of Bungsanglen village, Sagang under Churachandpur district, at Thotchanrah vilage, Chandel on September 30.Akhup was a daily wage earner who supported his wife and children, said the association in a statement issued by its president Serto Abi Kom today.

Condemning the 'inhuman and dreadful murder', the association appealed the State Government and law enforcement agencies to nab the culprits involved in the incident and award stringent punishment.

If the Government and the law enforcement are not able to act swiftly and nab the culprits in the time, the association will resort to agitation including bandh and strike in Sagang Bazar.

Seeking justice for the deceased, the association expressed heartfelt condolences to the surviving family members.
