ACOAM Lup to observe foundation day

Imphal, June 30 2015 : ACOAM Lup, Kangleipak President KshSomorendro sent out a greeting and message on the eve of the organisation's foundation day which will be observed on July 2.A press statement released by the President of the organization stated that since the day it has been established ACOAM Lup has been trying to contribute its mites to our society.

With the support of the masses it has also been observing different type of festivals to bring closeness between the Manipuris which have settled in different parts of India and neighboring countries and between the communities in the state that made to follow different religions.

ACOAM Luphas been celebrating Mera Houchongba every year at different places of the state to make more bonding between our communities, it added.

It still observes the day when valuable books of Manipur's ancestors were burnt downas dark daycondemning the incident.

ACOAM Lup has also been observing the day when India Govt.agreed to withdraw the controversial word "without territorial limit" from the ceasefire agreement with NSCN (IM) that was signed on June 14, 2001 in Bangkok as "Integrity Protection Day".

The statement also expressed the urgent need of inner line permit in the state to avoid the fate of Tripuris and to adapt in work culture to bring a society where there is no discrimination, exploitation, subjugation, domination and suppression.

It lastly appealed all to come and attend the observation day on Thursday which will be held at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul and to support its further activities.
