Imphal, December 31 2019: Many including the Governor and Chief Minister have wished the people of the State joyous and happy New Year 2020.Governor Dr Najma Hep- tulla, in her message, wish-ed the people happy, fruitful, prosperous and peaceful New Year.

"May the coming span of twelve months witness fulfilment of your fondest hopes and may you find success in all your ventures," she wished.

Chief Minister N Biren wished 'everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year' .

"I believe 2020 will be a year of renewed hope and confidence in our ability to face and overcome challenges, as we continue to move on the road to greater progress," CM wished.

Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Revenue Minister Karam Shyam, Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh and Forest and Environment Minister Th Shyamkumar also sent their best wishes to the people for happy and prosperous New Year.

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Manipur State Unit also wished for stronger bond of love between communities and peace in the State on New Year.
