Imphal, July 30 2020: Terming it as an act of cowardice, CM N Biren has strongly condemned the incident at Khongtai, Chandel district where three soldiers of Assam Rifles were martyred and several others were injured on July 29 .

He said that the sacrifice made by the soldiers in fighting the militants will not go in vain and the country will always remember their martyrdom.

N Biren also condoled the demise of the soldiers and shared grief with their bereaved families while praying for eternal peace to the departed souls.
