DLASA conducts essay compt in Chandel

Chandel, June 23 2014: A District Level Essay Writing Competition on the topic of 'Fundamental Duties of Indian Citizens' was held at Maha Union Govt.Higher Secondary School, Japhou here yesterday.

The competition was organised jointly by District Legal Aids Services Authority, Chandel (DLASA) and Manipur Legal Aids Services Authority Imphal.

Divided into three categories, in all, 55 students took part in the competition for Classes IV to VII (Elementary Level), 70 students in the category for Classes VIII to XII and 6 students in the college category.

Results would be declared on June 26 .

Organising Committee Members who took key role in organising the event included Chandel CJM W Tonen Meitei, who is also the DLASA Secretary, CdL District BAR Association President Rt Rebirthson, and Secretary of CDL Bar Association Siamond Langhu.
