Fee exemption announced, stationeries distributed

Imphal, May 23 2023:
All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Associ-ation (AMRPSWA), Imphal has announced that schools under the Association vvill exempt ad-mission and tuition fees for the whole year for students affected by the communal violence.
In a release, AMRPSWA assis-tant secretary P Romen Singh appealed to the affected students and parents to submit relevant details, including mobile num-bers to schools under the Associ-ation which are nearest to them.
While informing that the As-sociation has provided essential items to relief camps opened at Upper Primary School, Kumbi Tera Khunou; Kumbi Central High School; Keibul Lamjao Phoueibi Lairembi hall, near Keibul Lamjao police station; Pukhao Leitanpokpi and Pukhao Terapur, AMRPSWA urged the government to do the needful for starting classes from lune 1 after the summer vacation ends on May 31.It further appealed to the government, CS0s, clubs and student organisations to strive for bringing back peace and normalcy in the state.
Meanwhile, stationery items for students from class I to XII who are taking shelter in the relief camp opened at Heirok Higher Secondary School were distributed by the Peace and Relief Committee, Heirok The committee formed under the initiative of Heirok MLA lh Radheshyam distributed text books, exercise books, pens and toys for children in the presence of Thoubal ZEO Zone III DI N Rajen, Heirok Higher Secondary School principal Thokchom Ni-mai, Peace and Relief Committee president Thokchom Chourjit, committee member Tourang-barn Kala and family members of MLA Th Radheshyam.
