Imphal, January 20 2020: A training programme which began from January 16 till 18, at Agriculture Department, with active participation of 50 farmers from Phayeng and Khurkhul, concluded yesterday.

The training programme, which was organised by ICAR Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technologies, Ludhiana in collaboration with the Agriculture Department, was held at the Agriculture Department Farmers Training Hall at Sanjenthong.

The programme, held under the theme 'Post Harvest Management of Paddy and Value Additional of Rice', was graced by Rainfed Area Development Programme Nodal Officer A Tomchou, ATMA Nodal Officer Th Joyprakash and Local Coordinator AK Chittaranjan as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

During the closing ceremony, certificates, training manuals etc were distributed.
