Bishnupur, November 15 2018: Y Surendro Singh, Designated Officer, FSA Bishnupur has informed all food business operators in Bishnupur district dealing with manufacturing, storage, distribution, sale & import of food items to obtain FSSAI license or register or renew their business establishments.

FBOs who will be opening their stalls in Keibul Lamjao as a part of upcoming Sangai Festival 2018 should obtain the mandatory temporary registration from the office of Food Safety & Standard enforcement Wing, A Block Mini Secretariat, Bishnupur on or before November 21, said a statement of the DO FSA Bishnupur today.

It further appealed all the food manufacturers including soybean processors and sellers to follow strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygienic Practices (GHP) to prevent food poisoning.
