Man with demand note pulled up

Imphal, July 15 2014: Locals of Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi pulled up a man while coming to serve a demand letter at the residence of Dr Yumjao, Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi at around 2.30 pm today.

The man has been identified as Oinam Rishikesh (32) s/o O Tomba of Sangaiprou Maning Leikai.

Reports said Rishikesh, who came riding a Honda Dio scooter was asking for Dr Yumjao.

When Dr Subita, sister-in-law of the doctor asked the man for what reasons he was looking for Dr Yumjao, the man fled from the house without uttering any words.

Out of suspicion, Dr Subita alerted nearby locals after which they managed to pull up the man.

When searched his body, one letter head of 'United Liberation Front' with signing amount of Rs 2.50 lakh, two mobile phones, one neck chain for women and cash amount of Rs 2150 were found.

Later, locals handed over the man to police for further interrogation.
