Ukhrul BJP celebrates Advent Christmas

Ukhrul, December 13 2019: Ukhrul BJP while celebrating Advent Christmas at Kasomtang, Ukhrul, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for extending ILPS in the State.

During the programme, ex-MP candidate James Kashung deliberated on why he quit the Congress and joined BJP.

According to him, he cannot trust most of the leaders of Congress as the people of the State have lost confidence with the party for their 'inability' to work for the welfare of the public.

He also assured to take utmost responsibility to ensure that BJP progresses in the Hill District.

Meanwhile, Ukhrul district BJP president Thotthing Kashung expressed gratitude to the party leaders for giving him another chance to be the president of BJP, Ukhrul.

He also urged all to extend maximum co-operation to thK party to ensure the development of the district.

During the programme, the BJP workers shouted slogans such as "Thank You Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and N Biren Singh for extension of ILP in the State".

Mandal presidents, BJP workers, ex- president and several well-wishers also attended the programme hosted by newly elected BJP president, Ukhrul.
