Imphal, January 13 2021: RAMA Foundation, OKHO Trust and Uchol Nupi Lup jointly organised a training programme on cultivation of mushrooms yesterday at Uchol Mayai Leikai.

The programme was attended by Th Ngouba Singh, Chairman Leiyaibi Memorial Trust; S Rajendra Kumar, Managing Director, RAMA Foundation and Ratankumari Heikrujam, Secretary Uchol Nupi Lup and E Premananda Meitei, Secretary Leiyai Memorial Trust, said a statement issued by RAMA Foundation.

Soram Rajendra Kumar, regional achiever awardee delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial assistance etc, at the training programme, added the statement.

The statement further informed that the foundation will be organising another similar training programme on January 16 so any interested individual or SHGs or farmers' club should submit their bio-data before January 16 at the office of RAMA Foundation at Nagamapal RIMS Road or contact the office at 8787734452 for more detail.
