165 Territorial Army assists in restoring Water Supply at Nungba

Tamenglong, December 12 2025: Addressing the persistent shortage of water in Nungba Headquarters, the 165 Territorial Army (TA) has extended vital support by undertaking major repairs and completing the expansion of the water reservoir at the Khundai natural spring.

According to a release issued by the 165 TA, the initiative, carried out jointly by youth volunteers and the 165 TA D Company, is expected to significantly improve access to clean water for local residents, thereby enhancing public health and hygiene, particularly for the student community.

The assistance rendered by the 165 TA D Coy highlights the strong and growing partnership between local communities and the armed forces in advancing development initiatives across rural Manipur.

Expressing gratitude, the Nungba-1 Youth extended heartfelt thanks to the 165 Territorial Army (TA) D Coy for its crucial role in completing the expansion of the Khundai water source, which is poised to bring lasting benefits to the people of Nungba.
