MNPF celebrates 2nd anniversary

The Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF) observed its 2nd raising day at MNPA's general headquarters (GHQ) and tactical headquarters successfully with fanfare on Wednesday.
The celebration was marked by paying homage to the departed soldiers of the organization by the officials and cadres of the outfit who also offered gun salute at the parade ground, said a statement of Thomas Numai, assistant publicity secretary, MNPF.
It said the outfit's anniversary observation enthralled the invitees by patriotic songs from different Naga communities of Manipur.
MNPF chairman John Francis Kashung conveyed revolutionary salute to all the frontal revolutionary groups fighting for Manipu's independence, the statement said.

MNPF has just completed two years on March 11, 2015, it said and added that within this period the organization had clashed with Indian Army and NSCN (IM) on several occasions, mostly in Ukhrul and Senapati district of Manipur.
It said the organization also thanked to the almighty God for guiding and blessing the outfit despite facing so many adversaries by it.
MNPF also appreciated the Manipur public for extending their support and co-operation to the revolutionary movement of the group, the statement said.
The cooperation and support given to the group by the common public of Manipur will go on realizing the will of the public, it observed.
"So, the MNPF sought constructive suggestion and feed backs from the common peoples of Manipur to facilitate realizing the objectives," the statement further said.
The outfit further assured the general public of the Manipur to overcome all crises and to work whole heartedly and sincerely to ensure the unity and integrity of the Manipur peoples.
It further added that the MNPF is committed to continuing and completing the unfinished footstep left by the revolutionary leaders who had made sacrifices for the cause of Manipur's liberation movement.
