Governor, CM lead in extending Imoinu Iratpa, Gaan Ngai wishes

Governor and chief minister led in extending greetings on the occasion of Imoinu Iratpa and Gaan Ngai festivals to the people of the state.
Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla in his message extended heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur on the happy and auspicious occasion of Imoinu (Goddess of Wealth) Iratpa, 2025."I join the people of Manipur in the celebration of Imoinu Pujah and pray that this Pujah may bring peace and prosperity to the state." he added.
Chief minister N Biren also extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Manipur on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Ima Imoinu Iratpa, 2025 .
Ima Imoinu Iratpa is celebrated on the twelfth day of Wakching month of Manipuri lunar calendar, with traditional gaiety and religious fervour, he said in a message, while adding that the celebration is marked with offering of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fish to Goddess Imoinu, believed to be the Goddess of good moral behaviour, wealth and prosperity.
"Let us also join hands and work harder to make a self-reliant Manipur and move ahead at a faster pace of development," he said.
In separate messages, education/law & legislative affairs minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh and Rural Development & PR/MAHUD minister Yumnam Khemchand greeted and best wishes to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Imoinu Iratpa on Saturday.
Imoinu Ahongbi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, symbolises the values of harmony, abundance, and well-being that we cherish deeply, they added.
While praying for lasting love and peace in the society, they wished to embrace the spirit of unity and work collectively towards the progress and development of the beloved state.
Manipur People's Party in a release also wished the people of Manipur on the occasion of Imoinu Iratpa Numit.
Meanwhile, in separate releases United Committee Manipur, International Peace and Social Advancement and Federation of Haomee wished the people on the occasion of Imoinu Iratpa on Saturday and Gaan Ngai festival on Sunday.
They wished for peace, prosperity, strengthening the bond of relationship between the indigenous communities, communal harmony on the occasion of Imoinu Iratpa and Gaan Ngai festival.
