Imphal, January 10 2019:
Peoples' Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA) convenor Erendro Leichomba has urged the Members of Parliament Ksh Bhabananda and Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte to vote against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016, in the Parliamentary's Budget Session of the Rajya Sabha.
Saying that the Bill is non-secular, unjust and is against the Constitution and interest of the people of the State, a press release issued by PRJA convenor Erendro cautioned that the people will not forgive and no amount of appeasement by the Chief Minister or BJP would be able to placate the people of the State in case the Rajya Sabha MPs from the State vote in favour of the Bill.
