Thoubal, December 07 2017: All Manipur Students' Union today issued a strong warning against management committee of a school to come before the union following an inspection at the school .

The inspection which aims at ensuring proper functioning of educational institutions in the state came across irregularities in the functioning of the Leishangthem Kelimakhong Upper Primary School .

The drive under the supervision of HRD secretary AMSU Thoubal district, Ramananda Saikhom witnessed the school had changed the official arrival time of teachers in the biometric enrolment system installed in the school to 10.30 am as opposed to 9.15 am as per guidelines issued by the Education Department .

As per Department of Education, arrival time of teachers is 9:15 am and classes should start from 9.30 am a statement issued by AMSU said .

The students' union warned the school committee to come before the union before 2 pm of December 9 and furthers that such inspection will continue in other schools.
