Imphal, January 07 2022:
Claiming responsibility for the IED blast at Lilong Ushoipokpi on January 5, the proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has said that the blast was carried out by outfit's Cobra Task Force-3 .
In fact, there was a moment of emotional hesitation considering the imminent unfortunate consequences of the attack, said a PREPAK (Pro) statement issued by its assistant publicity secretary Th Eshingchaoba.
According to the statement, the outfit also felt the sadness and grief of the families while beholding the lifeless body and injured personnel of the Indian security forces.
Such predictable unfortunate outcomes compelled the outfit to curb its abilities in the past and is even more distressed as this unwanted destiny had fallen to two of WESEA's people, it maintained.
Indian leaders, sometimes, purposefully appreciated the bravery and courage of forefathers of the land but they never explained the root causes of the burning so-called insurgency issue.
Many centrally sponsored development programmes have been implemented and many leaders are frequently visiting to look after Manipur which are somewhat appreciable.
But people must know that as India forcibly annexed Kangleipak (Manipur), it is their responsibility to give special attentions which were neglected for a long time.
So, their actions are too little too late as they try hastily to cover their past mistakes and their step motherly attitudes, the outfit said.
It also said that PREPAK (Pro) has resources to frequently carry out attacks like that of the Usoipokpi but does not relish the casualties.
However, such actions are inevitable as long as the Indian security forces are stationed in Kangleipak (Manipur) .
