Rao writes obituary for Ibobi

With mutual distrust growing among the MLAs and the Ministers of the Ibobi-led Congress Government; the situation is most likely to make Chief Minister O Ibobi to fall from his chair, predicted P Chandra Shekhar Rao, Zonal Organisation Secretary, North East-in-charge.
P Chandra Shekhar Rao was speaking in a the felicitation function held in honour of M Rajen, who recently joined BJP along with thousands of his workers, today at the office of BJP, Manipur State Unit located at Nityaipat Chuthek here today.
Chandra Shekhar Rao arrived at Imphal early morning today.
He further stated that the Governor of Manipur has appointed Home Minister Gaikhangam as the Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur.
In reality, there is no requirement for the post of a Deputy Chief Minister in Manipur.
So, the appointment of one clearly indicates that there is lack of understanding among the MLAs and Ministers in the Congress Government led by Ibobi.
At the same time there, mutual distrust is growing among the MLAs and Ministers.
Chandra Shekhar Rao went on to note that during the last few months, a number of prominent political leaders of the state including ex-Ministers have joined BJP.
There is also possibility of more joining the party.
He asserted that the recent result of Panchayat polls wherein a number of candidates supported by BJP have won is a clear signal that the people of the state have started realizing the misdeeds and scandals of the Congress Government in the state.
Mentioning about the Loktak Lake scandal wherein one non-descript company under the name of K-Pro has allegedly misused crores of rupees in the name of cleaning up the Lake, Chandra Shekhar Rao said that BJP will take up active role in fighting against such corruption cases.
He also charged the Congress Government in the state of looting the people instead of working in the interest their interest.
Ex-MP, Th Chaoba and BJP, State Unit President, Sh Shantikumar were among others who were present and spoke on the occasion.
