Indira joins BJP ticket race

Imphal, December 28 2013 : Oinam Indira, who contested against CM Ibobi in the last State Legislative Assembly Election in Thoubal A/C as BJP candidate, today formally submitted an application to BJP, Manipur Pradesh for candidature in the coming Lok Sabha Election from Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

She came to the State Office of BJP located at Nityaipat Chuthek to submit her application with a large number of her supporters.

Talking to media persons, Indira said she has firm belief that the BJP High Command would grant her party ticket to contest the coming LS.

Separate budget for women and upliftment of socioeconomic condition of women are some of the core issues she intends to take up as a Member of Parliament, she noted.
