Imphal, July 27 2013 : In the run up to a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to be organized as part of its silver jubilee celebration starting from August 1 next, a one-day motivational talk on voluntary blood donation was organized at Thoubal College, Thoubal today.

The event, which was also a part of the ongoing 'No-Replacement Month' being observed in Government hospitals in Manipur under the aegis of MACS and SBTC-Manipur, was organized jointly by Thoubal College and its Students union, NCC & NSS units with technical support from the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur.

Around 167 teachers & students of Thoubal College attended the programme during which Dr.AK Brogen, President of AVBD-Manipur; Dr..LTomcha Khuman, Founder President of AVBD-Manipur; Kh.

Samarjit, Secretary of AVBD-Manipur and Nabakumar, Secretary of Thoubal District Branch of AVBD-Manipur spoke on various subjects pertaining to Voluntary Blood Donation.
