Senapati, April 26 2018: Four persons were seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling in met with an accident today at about 8 am at Rampung in Maram.

All the accident victims hail from Thangmeiband in Imphal and the driver of the Eon car has: been identified as Chanchal (42) and one occupant as Chaoba (52), while the other two are minors.

Executive members of Maram Students' Union (MKS) rushed to the accident site and rescued the grievously injured people who were found unconscious.

The car has also been extensively damaged in the accident.

The victims were given first aid at the 34 AR post of Maram with the help of one doctor from PHC Maram.

Later they were taken to the Senapati District Hospital for further treatment.
