Imphal, November 25 2011: While taking the nature of students' union election in the colleges of the state seriously, the Monitoring Cell of the College Students' Union Election 2011-12 (AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK, SWAK) appealed to the college students of the state to abide by the guidelines of the monitoring cell.

In a press statement, the monitoring cell stated that the cell had appealed to college authorities to ban a candidate of Finance Secretary and one of Debate and Extension in Lilong Haoreibi College and one each of General and Finance Secretaries in CI College Bishnupur for not obeying the guidelines of the cell.

It also appealed to the candidates not to stay in college campus with non students in connection with the election which will lead to their rejection from candidature.
