NSG to train Cdos on night Ops

Imphal, July 25 2022: As a part of modernising Manipur police, National Security Guard (NSG), which an Indian special force, will provide training on night rescue operation to Manipur police commandos.

According to source, around 180 NSG commandoes led by a brigadier-rank officer will arrive here for imparting training on night rescue operation from July 27 to 29 .

The training will be held at Manipur Legislative Assembly; Trade Centre located at Lamboi Khongnangkhong, BOAT located at Palace Compound, City Convention, New Secretariat located at Mantripukhri and other locations after dusk.

A DIG rank Manipur police will be the nodal officer of the training and will train Manipur police commando on how to conduct rescue operation if armed groups occupy a building and hold civilians as hostage.
