Birth anniv of Netaji observed

Bishnupur, January 23 2018: 121st birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose organised jointly by Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur and INA Advisory Committee was observed today at INA Martyr's Memorial Hall, Moirang.

Moirang AC MLA P Sharatchandra Singh, Art and Culture Director Dr K Sushila Devi, Coirang Municipal Chairperson M Romibala Devi, Moirang Ningthou K Ibohal, former Director of Higher Education, Govt of Manipur Dr M Kriti Singh, SP Bishnupur Jogeshchandra Haobijam attended the observance as presidium members.

Presidium members of the event paid floral tribute to the statue of Netaji.

A shot film based on the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was also screened during the event.

Speaking as a resource person at the observance, M Kriti stressed on the role Netaji played during the freedom struggle of the country.

A voluntary blood donation camp was also conducted as a part of the event at the INA complex.

About 25 individuals volunteered and donated blood at the camp organised by BJYM Manipur Pradesh in association with RIMS, Imphal.
