Imphal, December 21 2011:
The senseless ranting of Khehoi camp directed at discrediting NSCN/GPRN and it's leader SS Khaplang once again explains their hollow politicking and a state of eccentricity, said an NSCN/ GPRX statement issued by its MIP with apparent reference to hostile attitude of Gen (Retd) Khole Konyak and general secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi.
Observing that the Nagas need not be told who and what NSCN/GPRN or His Excellency are all about, the MIP statement said Khole's 55 years and Kitovi's 23 years of services under SS Khaplang and sudden branding of SS Khaplang as Burmese in itself speaks volumes of the duo's treacherous intention.
Indeed, the historv shall record the event as the lowest and the cheapest betrayal of Naga's rights and identity by the two, their generations shall be haunted by this very act of treason.
Trying to run a' six months old congregation of businessmen cum extortionists and kidnappers with money as a whip in-/ deed has every right to panic on seeing the progress of NSCN/GPRN," highlighted the MIP statement.
While Khole needed to be reminded how often he has been advising the younger generation that, SS Khaplang and Eastern Nagaland is not only the backbone of Naga struggle but also the future treasure of Naga future generations, the Nagas needed to be told that Kitovi espouses the theory that, "keep lying and keep spreading the lies that finally even lies would be confused as truth".
It is therefore not a new thing to NSCN/GPRN that, whatever spewed from Kitovi's tongue is nothing but an often repeated lies.
The Khehoi ,camp led by disgraced Khole and Kitovi may spell their objective to the Nagas and the world besides desperately trying to take cover under the banner of reconciliation.
The Naga issue is basically political and therefore clear political approach and goal has to be set rather than always attempting to misuse the issue for self aggrandisement, it added.
On the otherhand.
another NSCN/GPRN statement issued by military supervisor of People's Army of Nagaland Lt Gen Niki Sumi declared that giving due recognition to their previous sacrifices and contribution to the national service, the People's Army of Nagaland has offered compassionate retirement scheme to misguided aged/ elderly workers presently in Khehoi camp.
The scheme is being offered so that they may be provided an opportunity to voluntarily wash off their hands from the act of treason committed against the Nagas.
This plan is being mooted so that unnecessary collateral destruction may be avoided in the event situation becomes volatile as being perceived from the provocative activities from the Khehoi camp.
Henceforth, the People's Army NSCN/GPRN may not be held answerable for any untoward incidents in the future.
The seed of evil has already been sown by Khehoi campers and is bound to sprout one way or the other, cautioned the Military Supervisor.
