Solution call rings out at Hebron

Several Naga organizations today urged the authorities concerned for an early settlement of the Naga political problem.
Participating at the "39th Republic Day celebration of Nagalim" at Camp Hebron, off Dimapur today, Naga Hoho leader HK Zhimomi urged the parties concerned to settle the Naga political problem as early as possible.
"This is the desire of the people", he added.
Addressing the gathering, HK Zhimomi said that the Naga Hoho "still stands steadfastly" in supporting the ongoing Naga peace process.
"This is the only way for us", he added.
Also addressing the gathering, the vice president of Eastern Naga People's Organisation (ENPO) urged the Naga people to support the Naga peace process "sincerely and honestly" .
The speaker of United Naga Council (UNC) also appealed the Naga people to strengthen the "Naga National movement" .

Speaking on the occasion, a representative of Naga People's Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) urged the Nagas to promote their own culture and also conserve and protect the resources of the Naga people.
A leader of Naga Students' Federation (NSF) said that the "future belongs to the brave and not the weak people" .
He then urged the Naga people to continue the "fight for our rights with full determination" .
Also addressing the crowd, a leader of Tirap, Changlang, Longdi People's Forum (TCLPF), an Arunachal Pradesh based Naga organization, said that "there is a ray of hope that we will achieve our goal soon" .
He then appealed the Naga negotiators to take all the "stake holders" on board before the signing the "final agreement".
A leader of Eastern Naga Students' Association (ENSA), a Myanmar based Naga students' body, urged the Naga leaders to "cover the Naga areas in Myanmar in the Naga political agreement" .
Earlier in the day, Rh Raising, convenor of the Steering Committee of the NSCN-IM hoisted the "Naga Flag" in the programme.
He then read out the speech of general Kholi, the NSCN-IM vice president.
NSCN-IM Kilo Kilonser (home minister), Hukavi Yepthomi narrated the turns of events of the "Naga National movement" .
He stated that over 3 lakh Nagas have lost their lives in the decades of Naga struggle for dignity.
Cultural dances, drills from the NSCN-IM cadres, presentation of songs and feasting marked the occasion.
