Imphal, February 21 2021: The Joint Kuki Civil Society Organisation (CSO), Moreh, in a statement issued today, condemned the thrashing of innocent youth by some miscreants suspected to be the cadre ofUKLF on February 20 at S Moljol village, Moreh.

The Joint CSOs condemned the thrashing of Lunminlen Baite S/o Otthang Baite of Canan Veng; Jangkholen Haokip S/o Ngamkholun Haokip of Canan Veng; Hemson Haokip S/o Samuel Haokip of Canan Veng and Seiminthang Lupho, S/o (L) Seikholal Lupho of Canan Veng, on the same night.

The Joint CSOs further appealed to the authority concerned to look into the matter seriously and book the individuals involved in the crime and award befitting punishment as per the law, it added.

Similarly, the Vaiphei People's Council and the Zillai (Vaiphai Students Association), Tengnoupal, Moreh, also condemned the inhuman act perpetrated by the suspected cadre of UKLF, Moreh under the command of Haogin Haokip, Town Command UKLF upon Lunminlen Baite of Canan Veng on February 20 at S Moljol village, Moreh.
