Cleanliness programme held at Urup High School

Imphal, January 20 2019: School Management Committee, Development Committee, teachers and staff of Urup High School in association with Keirao Makting Gram Panchayat organised a cleanliness drive at the school today.

The cleanliness programme was also participated by the denizens of the surrounding areas.

Speaking on the sideline of the programme, convenor of School Management Committee, Md Nijamuddin said that Urup High School is the oldest and the only Government school in Arapti, Keirao and Urup villages under Keirao AC.

Urup High School has over 258 students enrolled at present, he said.

He informed that the school has been selected for the "School Fagathansi" Mission of Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

Saying that the school was affected by the recent flood, the school lacks proper toilets, furniture and other infrastructures, said advisor of Development Committee Urup High School, Khulem Achoubi and appealed the concerned authority for necessary actions to improve the school infrastructure.
