NPF Tamenglong dismisses allegation

Tamenglong, October 16 2015 : Naga Peoples' Front (NPF), Tamenglong Division on Friday strongly condemned and dismissed the allegation levelled against N Awangbou, president of NPF Manipur State Unit by three party vice presidents who had tendered their resignations.

Speaking to the Hueiyen Lanpao, NPF Tamenglong Division, president Ashang Pame said that it is under the dynamic leadership of N Awangbou that the party won the recently concluded ADC election 2015 .

Ashang Pame said that N Awangbou brought systematic administration in the party organisation in Manipur.

He also maintained "good coordination" with all the party leaders and said the resignation of the three VPs was "unwise" .

"Resigning on allegation at this juncture and publishing the same in the newspapers is unfortunate.

It was a petty issue and could have been sorted out within the party.

We sense that they might have been in collaboration with the other political parties for their own selfish ends", Ashang Pame said.

NPF Tamenglong Division reaffirmed the leadership of N Awangbou and urged all party men to stay united and follow the party principles.
