IRCS youth brigade sanitises Senapati town

Senapati, June 16 2021:
Youth volunteers of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Senapati district sanitised the whole town of Senapati in view of the selective relaxation of the containment measures in the district from June 18.RS Abel, who is one of the senior-most life members of Senapati IRCS, stated that the Red Cross team has been sanitising important public places and others where positive cases were detected since the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
The team was reportedly performing such activities to save lives by carried out fogging and spraying of sodium hypochlorite.
The district youth volunteers carried out their sanitisation drive at Mao, Tadubi, Maram and district headquarters on Wednesday.
RS Abel expressed gratitude to DC and Karong Senapati Town Committee (KSTC) members for their support and to the youth volunteers for performing such yeoman service to save humanity from time to time whenever necessary.
While thanking the youth brigade of IRCS, Senapati for their laudable service, A John, president KSTC, said that the IRCS, Senapati has been actively involved in sanitising different places of the district to stop the spread of the virus, adding that the youth volunteers were called up for sanitising the whole town ahead of partial relaxation of containment measures from June 18 .
