109 Bn CRPF conducts fogging

Imphal, April 14 2020: 109 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector, has conducted extensive fogging in and around Rajbhavan, bylanes behind Paona Market, Bir Tikendrajit Memorial Park and Pologround areas in Imphal West on account of COVID-19 pandemic.

The fogging exercise was carried out under the guidance of Narayan Balai 2 I/C, Commandant 109 Bn (AOL), said a statement of 109 Bn CRPF.

Kiyam Rajiv Singh, Dy Comdt also advised people to remain at home to observe the lockdown and follow all instructions issued by the Government as well as local administration, the statement added.

In addition to the fogging exercise, awareness about the COVID-19 and precautionary measures to be taken up to stop the spread of the disease was also raised among the local people, it continued.
