HRDM observes 5th foundation day

Imphal, October 10 2019: Human Rights Defender Manipur (HRDM) has observed its 5th foundation day at Old Age Home, Mongsangei, today.

On the occasion, Acting Chairperson of Manipur State Human Rights Commission (MHRC), Khaidem Mani said that HRDM was established with a sole objective to promote and protect human rights.

Conveying that MHRC had solved many cases of human rights violation in the past, he urged all to approach the commission instead of imposing bandh or blockade when similar cases arise.

The programme was also attended by S Kunjabihari Singh, vice president, All Manipur Seniors' Citizen Welfare Association; Dr Ch Mangi Singh, Prof, Paediatric Department, JNIMS; Jeetendra Ningombam, president CCSK and Joy Chingakham, chairman, HRDM.
