3rd Nameirakpam Chandrashor Memorial Award presented

Imphal, September 10 2014: Along with celebrating 20th Foundation Day of Writers' Club Manipur, Nambol; the 3rd Nameirakpam Chandrashor (Kameshor) Memorial Award was presented to Waikhomcha Ibotombi for his book 'Angangba Leigi Angouba Machu' during a function held at Public Theatre Hall, Nambol Khoriphaba Leikai in Bishnupur district today.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25000, a shawl along with a citation.

A book of short stories titled 'Arangba Thawanmichak' written by Dr M Mangi and published by Writers' Club Manipur, Nambol was also released during the function which was attended by Ngangom Naba, retd ZEO as Chief Guest; Saratchandra Nongthomba, president of Writers' Club Manipur, Nambol as President while Nameirakpam Loken, MLA of Nambol A/C and Nameirakpam (o) Pasot Leima who sponsored the award as Special Guests.
